Children's Court -- 2nd Judicial District Court
Handles matters involving youth under 18 years old regarding:adoptions, child abuse and neglect,delinquency, emancipation,marriage authorization, mental health commitments (adult and child), sealing of juvenile records and criminal cases involving juvenile defendants. The Juvenile DWI/Drug Court provides substance abuse treatment for criminal cases involving juvenile DWI/Drugs. The Domestic Relations Division handles child support and custody matters
Crime Victims Reparation Commission
Provides a variety of services to victims of violent crime including financial assistance in regard to expenses incurred as a result of being victimized.
Federal Public Defender
Legal services in federal criminal cases only. Applicants must first apply for services at the Federal Magistrate Court (348-2000).
New Mexico Public Defender
Provides free legal assistance to qualified low-income people charged with a felony, misdemeanor or DWI.
