Consumer Protection Division tracks and monitors complaints against businesses operating in New Mexico; investigates suspicious business activities, and offers complaint resolution services to dissatisfied consumers. Walk-in hours are 10-3 M-F and by appointment.

Tax Help New Mexico is a free service for people whose household income is $57,000 or less or those who are 65 years or older. Tax Help volunteers are certified by the IRS and are trained to help taxpayers identify tax credits for which they're entitled to. Tax Help is operated in partnership between CNM and the United Way of Central New Mexico.
