This guide is a starting point for research in Public International Law at the UNM Law Library. International law applies to the conduct of states and international organizations (such as the United Nations) in their relations with one another. Topics of public international law include: law of the sea; law of treaties; state jurisdiction; customary law; and the law of the Charter of the United Nations. This guide focuses on law of treaties, state jurisdiction, customary law and human rights.
