Adjunct Faculty Handbook: Law School Onboarding

Email Alias: username@law.unm.edu

All UNM adjunct faculty are provided a UNM email account, username@unm.edu. Law school adjunct faculty may additionally choose to have a username@law.unm.edu alias set up. An email alias is a branding email name to identify affiliation with UNM School of Law.

Another benefit of setting up this email alias is that the Law Library can provide you with access its Digital Collection. Our adjuncts tend to be most interested in accessing the digital subscription to the New York Times and in having passwords for Westlaw (including TWEN) and Lexis (including Lexis Classroom).

Email lawithelp@unm.edu to request setup of a law email alias.

Parking Permits

The parking lot adjacent to the Law School (the L lot) is restricted, Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm, to vehicles displaying permits. Adjuncts whose classes start before 4pm will be provided with permits for each class session they are scheduled to teach. Adjuncts' packet of permits will be available for pick up at the Reception Desk starting the first day of classes. Adjuncts visiting the law school at other times should stop at the Reception Desk upon arrival and one will be provided.
