New Student Library Orientation: Computers & Printers

This guide is designed to help new students through the first few weeks at UNMSOL by introducing them to the Law Library's resources, services, and policies.

Library Computer Lab

The Library Computer Lab is located upstairs from the Reference Desk in room 3313 and is accessible 24/7. The Lab is for law student use whereas the PCs located across from the Reference Desk and on the lower floor near the Pro Se collection are for use by Library guests.

The lab is equipped with:

  • Six PCs, two of which offer Adobe Acrobat in addition to office productivity software.
  • UNM School of Law Printer - Students receive a 625-page printing credit each semester. This printer also allows you to scan to email and photocopy.
  • Lexis Printer – LexisNexis provides a dedicated printer for free printing of documents from its database.
  • UNM Wēpa Print Station – Wēpa is UNM's pay per use printing and copying system.
  • Recycle bins.

For more general information on printing in the computer lab, consult the IT and Media Services Help Guides available on the Law School’s intranet. Students who need accessibility software should contact UNM School of Law Student Services and the UNM Accessibility Resource Center.

Wēpa Print Stations

The Library has two additional UNM Wēpa Print Stations. One is located across from the Circulation Desk and the other is at the top of the stairs leading to the second floor.

Printing and copying is $.06 per page and $.10 for duplex; see more print pricing details.
